Boredum Recommends!

Well babes I guess in my current state of boredum I should do some more recommending...

TV
Okay, so you want to watch some more TV, do you? Well I've got some recommendations for you!

The IT Crowd (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_IT_Crowd) - for you geeky types out there (and the non-geeks, actually) Here is a HILARIOUS comedy series from the UK!

Summer Heights High (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_Heights_High) and We Can Be Heroes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Can_Be_Heroes) Chris Lilley's HILARIOUS mockumentary series from Australia in which he portrays all the main characters to perfection! SHH recently started airing over here on HBO, so we'll see if it becomes popular to say "That's sorrrr random..."

MOVIES
Want to watch more movies? Okay, let's see, what to recommend today? Oh, I know, we'll do the last two that were recommended to me by Christopher that I LOOOOOVED!
Brief Encounter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brief_Encounter) GORGEOUSLY wonderful! The final line will stick to my heart forever and ever watered by my tears!
The Fountainhead (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fountainhead_(film)) This is another wonderful film, but VERRRY harsh to think about afterwards :/ it's wonderfully tragic! Just watch it!
BOOKS
The Ring of the Nibelung
By P Craig Russell
and
Remember how I said I'd bring up Wagner's Ring Cycle again? EH? Well, here I go, and it won't be the last... P Craig Russell adapted the entire cycle into a 2 volume graphic novel that melts my heart! He captured everything so beautifully!
Let's keep in the spirit of graphic novels... and I'll recommend you ANYTHING by Mr. Daniel Clowes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Clowes) the author of Ghost World, David Boring, Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron, Ice Haven, Eightball, and many others, this is a man you should read... NOW!
And let's go even further on that note you should read some TINTIN (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Tintin)!
And EVEN FURTHER... You should read Blankets by Craig Thompson (no relation to Thomson and Thompson or the Thompson Twins, anyone get the references?) it's a wee bit preachy and angsty... but a beautiful story none-the-less... I think the character is GAY GAY GAY... but that's just me...
That's all for now kids, bedtime!
